Who We Are
Eveson Property Group ("we", "us", "our") is a property deal sourcing business, registered in England & Wales under company number 17236960. Our registered office is at TMS Business Centre, Orpington, BR5 3QB.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) for our processing of personal data, registration number ZC193906. This notice explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details — name, email address, telephone number, postal address.
- Investment criteria — target locations, budget, strategy (for example BRRR, flip or buy-to-let), and yield requirements.
- Identity and financial information — proof of identity, proof of address, proof of funds, and source of funds documentation, collected as part of our anti-money laundering obligations.
- Correspondence — records of calls, emails and enquiry form submissions.
- Technical information — limited data collected automatically when you use this website, such as browser type and pages visited.
Why We Collect Identity & Financial Information
As a business registered with HMRC under the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds Regulations 2017 (registration number XDML00000222518), we are legally required to verify the identity of clients and, where relevant, the source of funds being used before a transaction proceeds. This is not optional and applies to every client we act for, regardless of the size or nature of the transaction.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Match sourced opportunities against your stated investment criteria;
- Carry out identity verification and anti-money laundering checks;
- Communicate with you about enquiries, deals and your ongoing instruction;
- Meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including to HMRC, the ICO and the Property Redress Scheme;
- Maintain accurate business records.
Our legal basis for this processing is a combination of contract (to provide the service you've asked for), legal obligation (identity verification under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017), and legitimate interest (keeping accurate records and communicating about your enquiry).
Who We Share It With
We do not sell personal data. We may share relevant information with:
- Vendors, their agents or solicitors, where necessary to introduce and progress a transaction you've asked us to pursue;
- Identity verification and anti-money laundering checking providers, acting on our behalf;
- HMRC, law enforcement or other authorities, where we are legally required to report or disclose information;
- Professional advisers, such as our accountant or solicitor, where necessary for our own legal or regulatory compliance.
Any third party we share data with is required to protect it to a standard consistent with UK data protection law.
How Long We Keep It
We keep personal data for as long as necessary to provide our service, and afterwards for as long as required by law. Identity verification and anti-money laundering records are generally retained for five years from the end of the business relationship, in line with the Money Laundering Regulations 2017. Other records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose they were collected for.
Your Rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- Ask us to delete your data, where we are not legally required to keep it;
- Ask us to restrict or object to certain processing;
